Lift Off NY
A young, stubbornly determined woman– “G” – turns to a night of camping alone in the Utah Salt Flats to heal from an unspoken grief. Her isolation is quickly interrupted when a mysterious entity spirits her away to an indistinguishable room. Addressed only by a faceless voice “with wizard space skills” and greeted by many snake plants, G finds herself transported between locations on an uninvited adventure to confront the places she’s buried her emotions. Salty takes a bitterly funny, sharply emotional look at the lonely process of letting go and healing from loss.
